Please note do not include infants or those that eat at home only occasionally. Also this word of advice. Go with the smaller option if you are unsure. It is very easy to switch to a full share.</span></li>

<p>3 cups cooked,mashed Sweet Potatoes</p>
<p>1/4 cup Milk</p>
<p>2 eggs</p>
<p>1 tspn Vanilla</p>
<p>1/4 lb. Butter</p>
<p>1 cup Coconut</p>
<p>Put all of the above ingredients in food processor and blend well. Pour into casserole dish (for those who may be tempted to omit coconut please <strong>don\'t</strong>-even those who hate coconut love this.)</p>
<p>Topping:</p>
<p>1 cup broken Pecan pieces</p>
<p>1 cup brown sugar</p>
<p>1 stick of butter (don\'t melt)</p>
<p>1/2 cup Flour</p>
<p>The topping will be lumpy. Crumble it on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.</p>

<li><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span class="fontSize3"><strong><em><span style="font-size: small;">How did this whole idea get started?</span></em></strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: windowtext"><span style="font-size: x-small;"> The CSA started in Japan in 1965 where it is known as a Teikei, which translates to partnership or cooperation.&nbsp; A group of Japanese women became concerned with the increased use of synthetic chemicals, the prevalence of processed foods and corresponding decline in the farm population.&nbsp;&nbsp; To alleviate this, the women initiated a direct, cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship with local farmers whereby they would purchase a share of the farmer&rsquo;s crop at the start of the season thereby participating in the farmer&rsquo;s success and ensuring&nbsp;local&nbsp;grown produce with quality.</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: windowtext"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span class="fontSize3">In the 1980&rsquo;s the concept was brought to&nbsp;United&nbsp;States&nbsp;from Europe &ndash; where it was adopted earlier.&nbsp; Through the last couple of decades, CSA&rsquo;s have spread across the US and Canada and number in the thousands across the continent.</span></span></span></span></li>

<p><span class="fontSize5"><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Either 1 sirloin, sirloin tip, rib eye, porterhouse, t-bone, top loin (NY Strip) or tenderloin (filet mignon) steak.&nbsp; <br /><span style="background-color: #ffff00;">Steaks should be at least 1 &frac14; - 1 &frac12; inches thick.</span>&nbsp; <br />Combine the salt, pepper and garlic in a small bowl.&nbsp; Rub the mixture into both sides of the steak, then allow the meat to come to room temperature while you prepare the grill.&nbsp; <br />Start the grill and warm it until it is hot.&nbsp; If you are using a gas grill, turn off all but one of the burners once it has come up to temperature.&nbsp; If you are using charcoal, be sure all the coals have been raked to one side.&nbsp; Use the hand test: the grate will be hot enough when you can hold your palm 3-4 inches above the metal for no more than three seconds.<br />Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side directly over the flame, with the lid down.&nbsp; Then, move the steaks to the part of grill that is not lit.&nbsp; Set the lid in place and allow the steaks to cook, without flipping them, until they reach 120-135 degrees**, about 10-20 minutes, depending on the size of the steak.&nbsp; Remove the steaks to a platter and allow them to rest a few minutes before serving.</span></span></p>]]></description><link><![CDATA[http://www.landisdalefarm.com/recipe/1051]]></link><pubDate>Sat, 26 Dec 2009 12:03:07 -0600</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
